Several public figures took up their pens to celebrate Father’s Day this Sunday. From Céline Dion to Charles III via Victoria Beckham and Michaël Youn, they celebrated their dad, the father of their children or bore witness to the joys of fatherhood.

Charles iii

The monarch who is celebrating the 44th birthday of his eldest son William this Sunday had a thought for his father Philip Mountbatten, who died on April 9, 2021, a little over a year before his wife Queen Elizabeth II, who died on September 8, 2022.

“Celebrating all the Fathers, and thinking of those who wish to be able to be with their Dad, today,” noted Charles III, in the margins of a photograph in the presence of his father, many years ago.

Victoria Beckham

In the midst of family turmoil since their son Brooklyn cut ties with his parents whom he accuses of having ruined his marriage and of wanting to rule his life, Victoria Beckham also wanted to mark the occasion. The ex-Spice Girl had a tender message for her husband. “David, you truly are the best dad,” she noted on Instagram. A publication accompanied by a photograph showing the ex-footballer with his three sons, Brooklyn, Roméo, Cruz and his daughter Harper. The latter also underlined for his part that “being a dad is (his) most important role”, before declaring his love to his entire tribe.

Michael Youn

The actor Michaël Youn took the floor to celebrate the joys that fatherhood has given him. He assured that nothing in his life “gave him more joy than being the father of (his) children”, posing all smiles with his daughter Seven and his son Stellar, fruits of his union with actress Isabelle Funaro.

Cristina Cordula

On the small screen side, Cristina Cordula, for her part, paid tribute to her late father and the capital role he had in the life of the ex-model, calling him a “compass”, an “advisor” and a “friend”, ensuring that she thinks of him every passing day.Â
