There was a scent of a great evening floating on the set of Mask Singer last night, Friday June 19. After
several weeks of investigationfalse leads and spectacular performances, the last five costumes still in competition played their place in the final. Last week, it was Caillou who left the adventure. The Donkey, the Bouquet, the Owl, the Chick and the Venetian woman no longer had the right to make mistakes. Facing them, the quartet made up of Kev Adams, Chantal Ladesou, Michaël Youn and Laurent Ruquier continued their investigations, determined to extract a few final revelations before the outcome. An evening particularly awaited by fans of the program, especially as the stakes had never been higher.
Mask Singer: the latest surprises from the competition
To mark this semi-final, the production had imagined a new mechanic intended to disturb the investigators. A mysterious Gorilla thus appeared in order to bring his assistance to the jury. Behind this imposing costume was in reality hiding a personality supposed to offer a different perspective on the performances of the candidates still in the running.
But the twist quickly made the set smile since this so-called recruit was none other than Michaël Youn himself. A light sequence which allowed the atmosphere to relax before the most important decisions of the season. Because for some, adventure Mask Singer

As the evening progressed, the performances followed one another under the eyes of the public and the investigators. Once the votes were counted, the verdict was finally in. The Venetian and the Owl are the two costumes which received the least votes.
Their adventure therefore ended Just a few days before the final.
A hard blow for these two personalities who had nevertheless managed to preserve their identity for many weeks. As always on the show, the moment of unmasking was one of the highlights of the evening, with its share of emotion and surprises.
Mask Singer: identities finally revealed
When the masks fell, viewers discovered that the Venetian was Sarah Schwab. The singer and impersonator thus saw her journey end at the gates of the last meeting. A few moments later, the Owl also révélé son visage. It was Plastic Bertrand, the Belgian artist known worldwide thanks to the title “It’s great for me” and a career marked by millions of records sold.
This double elimination made it possible to know thegrand final poster. Next week, the Bouquet, the Chick and the Donkey will try to achieve victory. One thing is certain, after this semi-final full of twists and turns, the suspense remains around the identity of the future winner of this ninth season.
