Supervision of the use of fireworks in the Vosges

On the occasion of the Music Festival and in the context of gatherings linked to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the prefect of Vosges, Blaise GOURTAY, issued an order aimed at preventing disturbances to public order and risks to personal safety.

Thus, the possession, transport, sale and use of certain fireworks and pyrotechnic articles are regulated throughout the Vosges territory during the period defined by the prefectural decree.

This measure aims to prevent accidents, fires, crowd movements as well as damage to people and property that could result from inappropriate use of these products.

Authorized professionals and organizers of declared or authorized pyrotechnic shows remain excluded from these restrictions in the context of their activities.

State services are calling on everyone to show responsibility so that the festivities take place in the best conditions of safety for all.
