From June 15 to 19, 2026, the Burgundy-Franche-Comté Region is present at the Paris Nord-Villepinte exhibition center as part of Eurosatory, an international meeting dedicated to land, air and land defense and security technologies. A collective pavilion, organized with the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, brings together thirteen local companies.
This presence is part of a strategy to support the internationalization of businesses and promote regional industrial know-how. In a tense geopolitical context, the Region is highlighting its technological skills and its centers of competitiveness in order to strengthen its place in the defense industrial and technological base. The regional international action system, with an annual budget of around 900,000 euros, supports nearly 500 companies in their export and prospecting efforts.
Regional companies focused on innovation
Among the players present are two companies from Saône-et-Loire: Ekoscan, based in Saint-Rémy, an expert in non-destructive testing using ultrasound and eddy currents, as well as Tôlerie Jannin-Carnet, based in Fragnes-La Loyère, active in sheet metal work. fine precision. Their presence illustrates the diversity of regional industrial skills and their adaptation to the needs of the defense and security sectors.
The stated objective is to promote access to new markets and strengthen links with major clients in the sector. The show constitutes a strategic lever to accelerate the diversification of changing industrial sectors, notably the automobile industry, towards activities with higher technological value.
