His fans know that Michou is the type to never back down from a challenge. But this time, the YouTuber has clearly reached a milestone. Headed to Las Vegas with his brothers for a family trip which quickly turned into a game of challenges, each crazier than the last. And in the middle of this American trip, one sequence in particular caught the attention: marrying a complete stranger in one of the famous chapels of the city of sin. A challenge that the young videographer took on without hesitation. The images, revealed this Sunday June 14 on Michou’s YouTube channel, are already causing a lot of talk on social networks. This family trip was also part of very specific timing since the YouTuber then flew to New York as part of the World Cup, where he is expected to comment on the matches. A great way for him to start this American adventure, with a stopover in Las Vegas that he will surely remember for a long time.
Michou says “yes” to a complete stranger
To accomplish his challenge, he still had to find a volunteer. Because if the challenge seemed simple on paper, convincing a stranger to pass in front of the officiant was not that obvious. After several unsuccessful attempts, Michou finally found the rare gem. And so, under the eyes of his brothers and friends of the bride for a day, the two strangers said “yes” to each other, not without having signed a marriage contract beforehand. A sequence which did not fail to make Internet users react. “You know that marriages in Las Vegas are recognized in France. Good luck with the divorce,” commented one of them. But another quickly qualified: “For the marriage to be legally recognized in France (for tax purposes, inheritance, etc.), the marriage certificate must be transcribed in the French civil status registers. If it is only “for fun”, the marriage will have no legal value in France.” Something to reassure fans.
The YouTuber learned from his mistakes
Since his breakup with Elsa Bois, Michou has visibly revised the way he approaches his love life. He who had not hesitated to formalize his relationship with the dancer has since been much more discreet on the subject. A caution that he himself explained during a recent appearance on France Inter: “You talk about your relationship publicly, so afterwards, we ask you to be accountable. Now, I have matured, I know that I want to protect my private life.” Words that sound like a real awareness. Because if the YouTuber continues to speak without filter to his subscribers on his YouTube channel, he now draws a clear line between what he shares with his millions of followers and what he keeps preciously for himself.
