Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau walked their first red carpet together in New York this Monday, June 9.

In New York, this Monday, June 8, eyes quickly turned away from Donald Trump at Madison Square Garden, who was heavily booed while attending an NBA final match, to focus on a celebrity couple who appeared very much in love. At the Tribeca Film Festival in the United States capital, Katy Perry arrived hand in hand with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Eight months after making their relationship official, this was their first official appearance together on the red carpet. And what occasion would have been better than this world premiere of the singer’s concert documentary Katy Perry : The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris. We attended the star’s performances on November 4 and 5 at the Accor Arena, recorded by nearly 60 cameras. It was also on this occasion, in Paris, that the couple appeared in public for the first time.

« I wasn’t really paying attention to anything other than Katy.”

When they arrived hand in hand on the red carpet before the start of the screening, Justin Trudeau was asked about the documentary, as you can see in the video below : “Are you impatient? Have you ever seen it? And the Canadian responded: “I saw the show three times, but I didn’t really pay attention to anything other than Katy. So I’m looking forward to seeing the show now, for the first time.”

The couple then struck a pose, very complicit, in front of the photographers. « Vous êtes beaux ensemble »complimented one of them, immediately thanked by Katy Perry.

The first speculation about the couple emerged in July 2025, after the two stars were spotted having dinner together in Montreal. Since then, they have never left each other’s side, appearing together at Coachella, but also in Japan and in Davos.

“Their relationship has deepened in recent months, and they are preparing to celebrate their first anniversary.”declared a source toUs Weekly early June.
