Two music festivals for the price of one! Sound lovers will be delighted because exceptionally, as June 21 falls on a Sunday, the City of Morteau anticipates the festivities and launches the programming from Saturday.
“The Music Festival will therefore be held on Saturday June 20 from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., and Sunday June 21 from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.†indicates Camille Detouillon from the culture department of the City of Morteau who coordinates the event.
The programming of the large stage installed on the Town Hall Square is intended to be eclectic: rock with the group Estelyma and a DJ on Saturday in particular, variety with GEM, metal with the Draven Stones and a youth group, The Sparkle, will be offered on Sunday. While the city’s musical associations and the music and dance school will perform in different places in the city. DJs are also planned near L’Escale.
And like every year, the city’s bars and restaurants will put their contribution to the musical edifice with essential hotspots like the Bousse, the Terminus, the Pizzeria du Champ de Foire, the Chaudron, Chez Dali in particular which will concoct their own musical program. Refreshments managed by associations as well as food trucks installed at Place Carnot will bring earthly foods to accompany the spiritual and musical ones which will enliven the city for two days.
