We first know Gaston Ardisson to be the son of Thierry Ardisson, but last Thursday, another story was written since the young man aged 30 said yes to Ximena Aguilar in a civil ceremony celebrated in the presence of their loved ones. In the photos published by Audrey Crespo-Mara in stories on Instragram we discovered him, very elegant, in a navy blue suit, kissing his radiant wife Ximena in a white dress. Two young people who look happy and frankly, in the context of this last year for the family, this happiness is good to see.
Who is the wife of Gaston, Thierry Ardisson’s son?
SO, who is Ximena Aguilar ? Mexican of origin, she has built a career that has nothing to do with television sets or the backstage of show business. According to his LinkedIn profile, after a degree in accounting and finance at Tecnológico de Monterrey, she crossed the Atlantic in 2016 to continue her studies in France. She then obtained a Master 2 in Public Action at Paris Dauphine in 2018. During her training years, she gained experience in demanding environments: the Mexican Embassy in France on human rights issues, then the Paris City Hall for the coordination of international events. A start to the journey which already says a lot about what she is looking for, not finance for finance’s sake, but finance at the service of something greater.
In 2019, she joined Philanthropy Advisors, a Parisian firm specializing in solidarity finance. Between 2020 and 2022, she is then seconded to Geneva for join the founding team of the WHO Foundation. Not bad for a young woman in her twenties! Back in Paris, she rose through the ranks to become administrative and financial director of the firm. Since October 2025, she has held the position of Senior Finance Manager in the Paris office of Camber Collectivea certified B Corp strategy consulting firm that supports foundations, NGOs and companies on societal issues. In short, Ximena Aguilar is a woman who chose to put her skills at the service of causes that matter.
A luminous union after a year of mourning
Manon and Ninon, the two big sisters who produce Gaston, know better than anyone what this day of June 4 represents. The siblings have been through something terrible in recent months, namely the loss of both parents within a few months of each other. Thierry Ardisson died in July last year while their mother, the musician Béatrice Loustalan, died of cancer in February 2026 at the age of 62. Two losses in quick succession, at an age when we are never really prepared for this…
See Gaston reach this milestone today, surrounded by his sisters and his mother-in-law Audrey Crespo-Mara, host of the Portrait of the week In Sept à Huit on TF1 is one of those moments that feels good despite everything. We see that life goes on, even if it has been cruel and that the family is still united. Indeed, the journalist and television presenter who did not hesitate to share her joy publicly on Instagram still seems to be in close relationship with her late husband’s children.
Gaston Ardisson and his wife: two worlds for a common life
What is striking about this couple is the distance between their respective universes. Gaston, son of one of the most emblematic hosts of French television, grew up in a world of rhinestones and sequins even if he himself chose a more discreet life than his father. Ximena comes from an academic and activist background, where social impact takes precedence over visibility. Two very different trajectories, which nevertheless seem to have found themselves naturally around love.
