Richard Orlinski knows excess well. The famous contemporary artist is used to Grosses Têtes by Laurent Ruquier. It must be said that his outspokenness and his culture quickly pleased the show’s conductor. On March 12, Richard Orlinski, freshly returned from Dubai, had thus triggered a laugh in the show by recounting his misadventures at the airport. Lacking a slot for his private jet, he had to travel on a regular flight... “We don’t understand enough the problems of the rich!”Laurent Ruquier then reacted. “We don’t have the same life!”Julie Zenatti even added. Since then, the man who entered the Grévin museum does not hesitate to highlight his fortune and his desires for the stars.

Richard Orlinski is getting ready to go into space!

At the beginning of June, Richard Orlinski made a big announcement in The Big Heads by Laurent Ruquier. “I bought a ticket to go to space. “I met Jeff Bezos last year, Katty Perry left with her program elsewhere. You go up into space for 10 minutes”, he said, rather proud of his decision. Faced with the surprise of his colleagues, the 60-year-old artist explained that there was “two days of training” to manage weightlessness. “It costs between 1.3 million and 2 million eurosbut if you book in advance you can get a ticket for 300,000 euros”he continued. Enough to amuse the various Big Heads, including the comedian Az: “He really has discussions that we don’t have. We book in advance for a ticket for 300 euros instead of 800 euros…not for several million euros!”.

The height of history? Richard Orlinski is afraid of heights! The artist therefore intends to “close his eyes” during the flight course. As was to be expected, there was another burst of laughter in the RTL studio. Departure is planned for 2027from Texas. Even Laurent Ruquier seemed interested in purchasing the artist. “Did you take out a loan?”asked Hugo Manos’ former companion. “What is it?”replied Richard Orlinski with humor. In short, an adventure that he will not fail to tell in The Big Heads.

Richard Orlinski amuses the Big Heads by talking about his cars

To make listeners laugh, Laurent Ruquier can count on his loyal columnists with anecdotes, each one crazier than the other. On May 12, Richard Orlinski surprised, once again, the Grosses Têtes remembering an improbable financial anecdote. “I received this morning a parking bill of more than 9,000 euros excluding tax. In August I went on vacation, I left my vehicle in the parking lot (at the airport, editor’s note), and then when I came back I was jetlagged, it was my driver who came to pick me up, I completely forgot to get my car back. If Richard Orlinski was able to not realize for nine months that his car had remained at the airport, it is obviously because he owns several. I have a parking lot which is quite large”he confided. An oversight that cost the famous sculptor dearly.
