If many celebrities live in Paris or the surrounding area for the needs of their work, they do not hesitate to change scenery as soon as they can. And this almost becomes a necessity during vacances d’été. At least, that’s the case for Véronique Sanson. Indeed, the icon of French song leaves the capital every year to his favorite destination this summer: Ibiza. A little corner of paradise that she enjoys from a house to die for.
The dream villa where Véronique Sanson takes up residence in summer
While some stars choose destinations like Normandy or Corsica to spend their summer rest days, Véronique Sanson prefers the Balearic archipelago where she has her habits with her sister Violaine. “Like every August for thirty years,
I rent the same house in Ibiza, on the cliffs. Vio takes the first fortnight, me the second†, she explained in an interview with Paris Match. And if this city is known internationally for being a hot spot for summer events, that’s not what the star is looking for: “This is my own Ibiza, far from the parties and the noise.â€
For this, she can benefit from an exceptional villa located on the heights of the city. In the middle of nature, this house seems to be a true corner of paradise. As pointed out The House Journalher son Chris even offered fans of the singer a little glimpse of the house. He posted a photo of the view from the house on his Instagram account a few years ago. And the least we can say is that the panorama of water and rocks is simply to die for. With a huge terrace in full sun and numerous sofas and armchairs to relax, this place breathes calm.
Moments where she finds her family
As we can see with this image, Véronique Sanson’s son does not hesitate to join his mother in Ibiza when he can. A great opportunity to get together with family, which happens more and more rarely as the singer explained during her interview with Paris Match. “I don’t see him as much as I would likebecause he now lives in Los Angeles†, she explained before continuing: “Christopher and my two granddaughters are therefore
forced to cross the Atlantic to see me.â€
So, she is very impatient to be able to share moments with her granddaughters. “I can’t wait to welcome them home for the holidays, to spend time with them†, underlined the star. And although they are not always by her side to enjoy the sunny days in Ibiza, she does everything to keep in touch: “The little ones are so far away that I too rarely have the opportunity to play grandmother. Fortunately there is Skype and the telephone to communicate!â€
