What should have been a night of celebration turned into a nightmare. A few hours after PSG’s coronation in the Champions League final against Arsenal this Saturday, May 30, Maeva Coucke surprised her subscribers this Sunday with an unexpected confession. The former Miss France 2018 revealed that she ended the evening in the emergency room, hospitalized and then operated on in the middle of the night. An announcement that no one expected, as the young woman seemed at the top of her form a few hours earlier. Throughout the evening, the young woman had in fact delighted her subscribers from the Parc des Princes, where she followed the broadcast of the final played in Budapest. Enthusiastic and smiling, she shared every moment with her community on Instagram: PSG jersey on her shoulders, connected watch that went off at every opportunity, videos of joy at the final whistle… Maëva Coucke seemed to be having her best evening, a thousand miles from imagining what awaited her a few hours later.

A stubborn infection on her left index finger, which had already forced her to spend four hours in the emergency room on Saturday afternoon. “I spent four hours in the emergency room for nothing because my stitches were infected,” she confided to her subscribers, visibly exhausted. Which, however, did not prevent Maëva Coucke from doing everything to reach the Parc des Princes and experience the Champions League final until the end. “Look where I am! So happy, I’m just in time”, she said in front of the camera on Saturday evening, her smile regained despite the pain. A determination that commands respect, even if the night that followed ultimately cost him an additional trip to the hospital and an emergency operation.

But when night came, the situation got even worse for the ex-Miss France. A photo in a hospital gown and a blunt message have indeed finished worrying her subscribers: “Head to the OR, I’m drunk.” Maeva Coucke finally underwent emergency surgery for a whitlow. This is not the first time that this problem has ruined his life. At the end of 2024, the young woman had already undergone surgery for a first whitlow on her left hand. “That’s right, my whitlow was operated on. Very, very big dressing. I’m not going to be able to do anything with that hand for a while,” she confided. at the time, adding with self-deprecation that it was “the Christmas present that life” had given him.
