More than 130 students from Langres, Chalindrey and Fayl-Billot gave their voices on Thursday May 28 in front of a packed Jean-Favre room.

The choirs of Chalindrey College, Diderot for Langres and Fayl-Billot met again for a joint concert. This evening took place Thursday May 28 at the Jean-Favre hall in Langres in front of several hundred spectators who came to enjoy the show.

In total, 130 middle school students from the three establishments as well as the ten teachers who accompanied them in this project put on a show around the theme of cinema. Like the joint concert given last December, the singers performed throughout the evening, whether during the sung but also instrumental parts or during the small scenes which served as interludes.

A superb artistic experience

This is how, for example, spectators were treated to cult cinematic music such as “Pretty Woman†, “Tarzan†, “Les choristes†, “Mission Impossible†and “Taxi†. The students, under the direction and support of their teachers, carried out the repertoire worked on all year without a hitch.

An investment in this project, in place for several years, which was welcomed by the principals of the three establishments which had opened through a speech shared this remarkable evening. For their part, the spectators did not miss a bit of the students’ performance.

Some members of the public were even invited to take part in certain interludes, thus bringing proximity between artists and spectators. For the young artists, this restitution concert was undoubtedly a superb artistic experience. There is no doubt that many of them will repeat the experience next year.
