The Monbrun music school is offering Sunday, May 31, at 4:30 p.m., in the collegiate church, an hour of melody suitable for children and music lovers who love the piano. Valérie Chabal, the teacher, appreciates posing these challenges for her students, while financing a little work since the contribution to the hat will be entirely donated to the Association for the Safeguarding of the Collegiate Church and the Saint-Jacques Chapel (ASCJ). Adult students, adolescents and younger will be happy to share their passion and their evolution during their year-long work. This audition, in the shadow of the college, will allow the public to discover classics and neo-classics while supporting a dynamic school, close to the students, in a sharing of pleasure, without competition. The students chose the piece performed, Valérie Chabal taking part in the emotion of each person’s interpretation. In this school, the important thing is also to create links; beyond the black and white touches, young and old get to know each other and a good atmosphere is present. “A wealth to be supported at all costs,” exclaims the professor with her infectious smile. “Come and encourage the presence of musical culture among young people and also among adults.”
