“Off Campus”: Ella Bright responds to the controversy over her age gap with her partner Belmont Cameli

At the microphone of host Amanda Hirsch, Ella Bright responded to fans’ concerns about the age gap between her and Belmont Cameli. “I came into this job and, during the script readings, I had more than enough information, knowledge and understanding of what this role and the series required“, she declared initially, she who was 18 years old at the time of filming.

And continued: “I immediately fell in love with Hannah and these scenarios. There was never any doubt that I wouldn’t want to do that. (…) I understand people’s concerns, but I never felt left out because I was younger than the others. (…) We are a real family and everyone was absolutely perfect. I felt extremely comfortable on this set with these people.”

During a convention organized on May 10, 2026 in the American state of New Jersey, Ella Bright had already spoken about her relationship with Belmont Cameli. “I remember my first meeting with Belmont,” she recalled in comments reported by the site People on May 12, 2026.
