A new controversy is currently shaking social media between the Stray Kids and TWICE fandoms. Tensions this time emerged after the announcement of the new dates in Latin America for the tour STRAYCITY of the male group.
On May 22, Stray Kids announced several concerts in Colombia, Argentina and Mexico. If this news aroused the enthusiasm of the STAYs, it also disappointed many ONCEs, who were still hoping to see TWICE schedule dates in Latin America as part of their own tour.
Very quickly, several fans accused the agency of favoring Stray Kids to the detriment of the girl group. Some Internet users particularly pointed out the fact that the announced dates came at a time when rumors were still suggesting a possible Latin American tour for TWICE.

Faced with the extent of the tensions, Bang Chan surprised Internet users by speaking directly. Without responding to accusations that Stray Kids would have “recovered†the dates planned for TWICE, the leader of the group asked his fans to respect their elders.
He notably explained that the members of TWICE were his friends and that he had a lot of respect for them. He also encouraged fans to simply enjoy the band instead of fueling conflicts online.
