David Beckham’s combined fortune has risen to around £1.185 billion.
The Beckham couple saw their fortune double last year, making them join the select club of British billionaires, according to an annual ranking published this Friday, May 15 by the Sunday Times. A fortune which also makes David Beckham the United Kingdom’s first billionaire athlete.
The fortune of the English football legend and his wife Victoria, the ex-Spice Girl who became a fashion designer and businesswoman, is estimated at 1.185 billion pounds (1.36 billion euros). According to the British newspaper, this increase is due “Smart investments in football, food and beverage, real estate and fashionâ€.
This is a jump compared to assets estimated at 500 million pounds a year earlier, which can be explained in particular by the investments in recent years of the former captain of the England team in Inter Miami, the American club where the star Lionel Messi extended the year last his contract until 2028. The arrival of the Argentine player allows continued commercial growth at the club.

Another asset of David Beckham: his real estate complex built around Nu Stadium, the football team’s new 26,700-seat stadium, located near Miami International Airport. It houses offices, restaurants, shops and residences. The former Manchester United star’s stake in the venture was worth more than £370 million, People reports.
Another old investment is now proving to be beneficial. More than ten years after abandoning his famous Adidas Predator, Beckham continues to reap the rewards of his empire: in 2024, his British company DRJB Holdings has paid around £43 million in dividends to its shareholders, then another £17.2 million initially of 2025.
For its part, the Victoria Beckham fashion brand, launched in 2008 and long in deficit, saw its turnover exceed 100 million pounds last year, according to the daily.
The family of Gopi Hinduja, who died last November and owner of a conglomerate in finance, energy and tech, remains at the top of the list compiled by the Sunday Timeswith a fortune of 38 billion pounds. In addition to the Beckham family, this year’s ranking includes Noel and Liam Gallagher, whose joint fortune, estimated at 375 million pounds, was boosted by the Oasis reformation tour.
Nik Storonsky, boss and co-founder of the British online bank Revolut, saw his personal fortune more than double last year, to 16.411 billion pounds, marking the biggest increase in the ranking.
