At Clairfont School, spring was celebrated with music and dance on Tuesday, May 13, during a large festive evening bringing together students, teachers and families. Organized jointly by the nursery and elementary school classes, this spring festival highlighted the artistic work carried out throughout the last period.

The youngest opened the show with energetic Occitan dances and a French cancan, while the other two nursery classes performed a cappella songs. On the elementary side, cycle 2 students led the audience in choreographies inspired by the world of Shakira and the film Zootopia. Other classes offered a real world tour in music: Occitan dance for Europe, African percussion, North American country, South American samba, Polynesian dances and haka for Oceania, without forgetting a Bollywood atmosphere in the colors of India, for Asia.

The cycle 3 students then covered songs by Big Flo & Oli as well as the famous song by Michel Berger “He played the piano standing”. The evening continued with the participation of La Portet Musicale, then the group Duck n’ Cover, of which the teacher Frédéric Colombard is a member. Finally, a refreshment bar run by the FCPE des Écoles de Portet made it possible to extend this friendly and festive moment.
