The Émotions cinema in Bagnols-sur-Cèze broadcasts the opening ceremony of the 79th Cannes Film Festival free of charge. It will be followed by the screening of the opening comedy of the event, The Electric Venus.
The red carpet is rolled out in Bagnols-sur-Cèze. Failing to welcome the biggest stars of cinema in its rooms, the Cinéma Émotions is screening the opening ceremony of the 79e edition of the Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday May 12. Bagnolais are expected at rue du Casino from 7 p.m. to witness the famous climb of the steps.
This year, the ceremony will be chaired by the Franco-Malian artist Eye Haïdara, who has notably played inThe Women’s House de Mélissa Godet.

The opening screening also broadcast
The ceremony, offered free of charge, will end around 8:10 p.m. It will give way, at 8:45 p.m., to the traditional opening screening of the Cannes Film Festival.
The Bagnolais will discover the romantic comedy at the same time as in CannesThe Electric Venus du scénariste français Pierre Salvadori.
