Icon of French song, Pascal Obispo has been more discreet on stage lately, following health problems. While his former partner Isabelle Funaro was victim of a homejacking in Bouches-du-Rhônehe is enjoying his retirement at Cap Ferret, where he now has his habits. The former coach of The
Voice
particularly likes to go to a very specific restaurant, where he tastes his favorite dishes.

Pascal Obispo: his retirement at Cap Ferret

Since 2004, Pascal Obispo resides in a huge villa by the ocean.
He transformed this 1.4 hectare plot of land, located near the semaphore on the tip of the Cap Ferret peninsula, into a superb estate surrounded by nature. He fell in love with this building which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and offers a breathtaking view of the Pilat dune. However, when it was acquired, it was only an abandoned residence. The singer therefore undertook a complete renovation:
“When I bought it, there was nothing grand about it. It was a sort of resort with Algeco and antique sinks, things I couldn’t bring myself to throw away.”he explained. Since then, things have changed a lot.

Now, his residence has a swimming pool, a recording studio and even a tennis court. And even if, given all this entertainment, he could easily stay at home, the singer, Isabelle Funaro’s ex, likes to go out to enjoy Cap Ferret and in particular a restaurant that he particularly appreciates and which has now become his HQ.

What are Pascal Obispo’s favorite dishes?

There are places we like to return to without getting tired of them. For the native of Bergerac, it is a restaurant close to the ocean. In an interview given to
France Bluehe thus revealed the dish that particularly thrilled him: “A traditional dish would be the mussels from Chez Hortense, from my friends Bernadette, Olivier and François in Cap Ferret, at the tip of Cap Ferret, just opposite the Pilat dune.”

Concerning this place, he explained that it was: “It’s a traditional restaurant, where it’s nice to come and spend some time”to which he visits very regularly:
“I pass there countless times every summer”he specified. And in addition to mussels, he also enjoys eating a steak with a secret sauce and frieswhich would be among the best in the world. Moreover, Sean’s father is not the only celebrity to have succumbed to Chez Hortense’s recipes. Among the restaurant’s customers are also Audrey Tautou and Michel Denisot.
