From June 12 to 14, the Rock & Cars festival returns for its 18th edition, combining concerts, classic cars, motorcycles, and a rock ‘n’ roll atmosphere.

Lavaur is preparing to vibrate to the rhythm of the 18th edition of the Rock & Cars festival, organized from June 12 to 14, 2026. Completely free, this popular event will welcome music enthusiasts, car lovers, and curious visitors for three days of festive atmosphere in the city center.

Ranked among the top ten free urban festivals in France in 2017 by Les Festivals Awards, and voted the best festive event in the Tarn region in 2018 by a survey from La Dépêche, Rock & Cars continues to impress. In 2025, over 25,000 visitors attended the event, with more than 900 cars on display and hundreds of motorcycles.

This year, more than 900 vehicles are expected, including Harley’s, rods, kustoms, US cars, and vintage models. On stage, twelve bands will perform over three days, with three headline acts highly anticipated.

French artist Gaëlle Buswel, known for her captivating blend of blues, folk, and rock, has established herself on French and international stages with her powerful voice and strong stage presence.

Another highlight will be the performance of the American band The Lords of Altamont, born in Los Angeles and known for their energetic garage rock infused with psychedelia and rhythm and blues. Finally, French blues rock singer-guitarist Rod Barthet, with over thirty years of experience and twelve albums, will close the Saturday evening show at midnight.

The festivities will kick off on Friday at 7 pm with bands performing in bars in Lavaur. On Sunday, there will be car and motorcycle rides, a parade, a pin-up contest, concerts, and the award ceremony for the most beautiful vehicles.
