On Saturday, October 10th, the play “Le Grand Air de Figaro” will be presented to the public in the community hall of Treis-Sants-en-Ouche (Eure) by Catherine Durand, the producer. Catherine, who joined the association in early 2025, is no stranger to this inclusion of theater in the upcoming season’s program.
President of the association, Claude Spohr, expressed his excitement for the kickoff event of the 2026 season, a concert of Basque songs on Sunday, May 3rd at 3 pm in the church of Saint-Pierre-de-Cernières, describing it as a splendid moment.
The decision to include Basque music in the program was inspired by the success of Corsican polyphony in the previous season. The association plans to continue with this theme, highlighting Basque music through the male choir Anaiki. This initiative was suggested by a new member of the association, who envisions incorporating choirs from other distant regions in the future.
The concert by the male choir Anaiki on May 3rd is a paid event, with tickets priced at 15 €. However, individuals under 18 can attend for free. Reservations for this concert and other events can be made by contacting 06 84 17 58 03.
