Norbert Tarayre to be the new host of “Le Meilleur Pâtissier”
In a press release on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, M6 announced that Norbert Tarayre would be joining the show as a judge. The former contestant on “Top Chef” Season 3 is a familiar face on M6, having hosted shows like “La meilleure boulangerie de France” and “La meilleure cuisine régionale, c’est chez moi”. He is no stranger to “Le meilleur pâtissier”, as he previously hosted the French version on Gulli from 2022 to 2024 alongside Mercotte.
Meanwhile, Mercotte officially announced her departure from the show, stating “You have to know when to stop.”
But Norbert Tarayre is not the only new addition to Season 15 of the program. Content creator Roxane, who participated in Season 4 of “Le meilleur pâtissier”, will also be part of the new season. She is now highly popular on YouTube with over 4.5 million subscribers to her channel “L’atelier de Roxane”. On Instagram, she has amassed over 3 million followers who tune in to her recipes every week.
This new team is expected to maintain the high viewership of the previous season. In consolidated ratings, taking into account replay views, the 2025 edition was watched by 1.9 million viewers, making up 11% of the total audience share. The show also performed well in key demographics, capturing 20% of viewers aged 25-49 and 25% of viewers aged 15-34.
