The Toulouse singer Jansi will reveal her new EP “43 million” on Friday, April 17th, during a release party at Flashback Café in Toulouse. It will be a free evening to experience her live performance, blending slam, song, and personal revelations.
Jansi has a crystal-clear voice, sapphire eyes, and a Gavroche cap that make her instantly recognizable on social media. With 50,000 followers on Instagram (@jansi_musique), the young singer is known for singing about the blues and the inherent questions of a quarter-century. Her song “25 ans” quickly surpassed a million views on the Polaroid platform.
Following her first EP in 2024, “35%”, which explored student life, the former world champion of artistic roller skating returns on January 9th with a new project: 43 million. “It’s the number of songs released each year in the world, among which you have to stand out,” summarizes the Toulouse artist.
To introduce her colorful slam, the 28-year-old “2.0 minstrel” invites fans and the curious to a free release party at Flashback Café. It’s an opportunity to discover in preview the songs that will be released gradually on streaming platforms.
Two initial excerpts have already been revealed. “Choisir” addresses the universal theme of renunciation and the courage it requires. And “Avis de recherche” tells a love at first sight story and the search for a lost soulmate met on a TGV train. The SNCF was quick to share this story, which can also be discovered online or on stage at Brienne Square.
