The city council met on Saturday, April 25 at 10 am, under the chairmanship of Julien Castagné, mayor of Nohic. The agenda was marked by a crucial step in local democratic life: the vote on committees and the budget for this year. After the presentation of the financial guidelines, the budget was adopted by the majority of the full city council.
This vote officially launches planned projects and investments, including the renovation of the school’s enclosure. The 2026 budget was detailed to the residents, highlighting public financial management and budgetary orientations in a climate of transparency and dialogue. The interest of the residents in managing their municipality was also confirmed by the presence of about fifteen people in the audience who came to attend the debates and the decision-making process. Before the official opening of the city council, a photo was taken, bringing together all the elected officials, both majority and opposition. This photo symbolizes the collective commitment of local representatives to serving the community.
