Multiple lanes on I-75 closed in Carthage after officers reportedly respond to police chase

Local police officers are said to have responded to a vehicle pursuit in Carthage on Saturday afternoon.According to OHGO, multiple lane closures were implemented on Interstate 75 just after 3:30 p.m. near the Paddock Road exit. Both north and southbound lanes were said to have been affected. The reason cited for the closure was a police chase in the area.Upon arrival to the scene a short time later, WLWT cameras observed at least four vehicles that were stopped on the interstate’s northbound lanes near the Paddock Road exit.
