The 51st season of “Saturday Night Live” concluded on Saturday night with Will Ferrell returning as host.

Before his opening monologue, Ferrell appeared in the cold open alongside James Austin Johnson’s Trump, portraying a ghostly Jeffrey Epstein. The sketch featured humorous exchanges between the two characters, including references to heaven and Epstein’s afterlife activities.

Ferrell’s Epstein claimed to see into the future, offering insights into the fates of Kristi Noem and Pete Hegseth. The sketch ended with a duet to the tune of Grover Washington Jr.’s “Just the Two of Us.”

In a surprising turn, Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers crashed Ferrell’s monologue, causing confusion with his resemblance to the host. The episode also featured a cameo from Molly Shannon and a joke swap tradition between Jost and Che during the “Weekend Update” segment.

To close out the season, Ferrell hosted alongside musical guest Paul McCartney, performing an encore of “Coming Up.” Ferrell, a former “SNL” cast member, has made numerous appearances on the show over the years.

The episode was filled with comedic moments and star-studded cameos, marking a memorable end to season 51 of the iconic sketch comedy series.
