Blowing dust health alert in effect for Bernalillo County
With winds forecast to gust to 40 mph or more in some areas on Sunday, the Albuquerque-Bernalillo County Air Quality Program has issued a health alert because of blowing dust. People with respiratory conditions are advised to limit outdoor activity. The alert is scheduled to expire at 8 p.m. Real-time emergency health alerts in Bernalillo County can be received on mobile phones by texting ABQHEALTH in English, or ABQSALUD in Spanish.
