The Biloxi Shuckers started their second series against the Rocket City Trash Pandas with a 7-3 win at Keesler Federal Park. It was their fourth consecutive series opener victory this season. The game saw Jordan Adams contribute with an RBI single early on and later a 458-foot two-run homer, making it the longest home run for Biloxi this season. The Trash Pandas struggled offensively until Gustavo Campero hit a home run to narrow the score gap.
Blake Burke added insurance for the Shuckers with a double in the seventh inning, while Jordyn Adams led the team with a 3-RBI game. Pitchers Brett Wichrowski, Ryan Birchard, Edwin Jimenez, and Patricio Aquino combined to keep the Trash Pandas hitless for most of the game. Aquino secured his first Double-A level save.
