Tuesday June 30, 2026, the singer and novelist Olivia Ruiz will be on the national stage in Narbonne for a free meeting as part of the Culturissimo festival. A new opportunity for the artist to meet the Aude public around his latest novel ¡Vamos!
Olivia Ruiz will perform at the Théâtre scène nationale in Narbonne on Tuesday June 30 at 8 p.m., a free concert offered by the Leclerc Narbonne hypermarket. A key date of the 13th edition of the Culturissimo national festival which offers, on several dates in France, access to a living and generous culture through readings, shows and concerts by renowned artists and authors. The event is taking place in 60 cities in France, reaffirming the principle dear to the E.Leclerc… Cultural Spaces: culture only has meaning if it is in its place everywhere, as close as possible to citizens, without social or geographic barriers.
“Bringing culture for free to those who cannot afford it”
This June 30 in Narbonne, places will be free. “We don’t have a culture space per se, but this year, this festival is open to all stores,” explains Estelle Boudin, general director of the Leclerc hypermarket in Narbonne. We are financing the arrival of Olivia Ruiz, it’s a choice on our part…: we are an economic player in the region and Narbonne is a major cultural place today. It is important for us to relay the values carried by the brand, and to bring culture free of charge to those who do not have the means to have access to it.
A Roman troisième
With her albums, “J’aime pas l’amour”, “La femme chocolat” and “Miss Météores”, Olivia Ruiz made her mark on French song and won several Victoires de la Musique. In 2020, it was with her first novel, “The Dresser of Colored Drawers”, sold more than 100,000 copies, that she burst onto the literary scene. With “Vamos…!”, her third novel of which she will read a few pages at the Theater, she establishes her place among French novelists. She invites us to discover the vibrant odyssey of Lola, this mother who gave herself a year to pass on to her son, Ennio, the only thing that matters according to her: the love of life. From Madrid to Egypt via Havana and the Moroccan coasts, we let ourselves be transported by the sparkling voice of an extraordinary mother and woman.
After having performed at the Arena in support of the department damaged by the fire last August in a major solidarity concert on December 1, 2025, then as a guest at the Book Fair, this is the 3rd time that Olivia Ruiz will meet her audience in Narbonne.
