It was through the Club, the project leader, that the Habitat Jeunes du Grand Rodez association and the Compagnie Hors Logerie were put in touch to experience the “Weaving of links” adventure.
L“building connections is essential”, explained the director of the residence Serge Darty, in his welcoming remarks: “Essential and, within our structure, it makes even more sense. These months of sharing offered everyone an enchanted interlude which was good and allowed for great encounters… Thank you to the Club for allowing us to experience this adventure.”
Nicolas and Pauline from Cie Hors Logerie spoke at the residence on several sessions between November and April. Residents of all services: Cada, Sammie and social residence were able to participate. It was about creating a bond around musical memories. Meetings where Pauline and Nicolas played pieces collected in other establishments and the residents shared their own memories with them.
“A note, a chorus, a word spoken and it’s the past that invites itself, a moment of life, of shared intimacy, with all the emotion that surrounds it. A memory that allows us all to discover the place of music in the daily lives of all generations… “, analyzed the duo of artists.
With this tandem, the residents sang, listened, shared around music and the restitution of all this collection of memories gave rise to a show at the Club, which received the support of residents from three services, an intergenerational and multicultural membership…
This is why it was decided to end this adventure, with this exhibition, at the FJT (well formerly!), whose opening this Wednesday gave rise to another beautiful shared musical interlude and which it is still possible to discover until tomorrow evening.
