A unique open-air theater festival on the Côte d’Azur

Who has never dreamed of attending a show under the stars, with the Mediterranean as a backdrop? This is the experience offered by Les Théâtreles d’Éze. Nestled at the Oppidum du Col d’Éze, the festival offers a rare setting where theater is performed in the heart of nature, facing one of the most beautiful panoramas on the Côte d’Azur.

As the sun sets over the Mediterranean, the audience takes their seats in front of a spectacular setting where the blue of the sea mixes with an incandescent sunset. In this unique atmosphere, the emotions carried by the actors resonate with particular intensity.

This meeting between the beauty of the Oppidum du Col d’Éze, the sweetness of summer evenings and the strength of the live show makes the festival unique. Between Nice and Monaco, this perched village which has inspired personalities such as Friedrich Nietzsche, Jean Cocteau and Francis Blanche offers a cultural interlude which will appeal to theater enthusiasts as much as visitors looking for an exceptional evening on the Cote d’Azur.

Moliérisé pieces, out of Avignon: a quality program at Èze

Throughout the performances, everyone is free to let themselves be carried away by a comedy full of lightness, a more sensitive text or an unexpected artistic encounter. A diversity which fully contributes to the identity of the festival and its capacity to attract an ever-widening audience.
