Adoc 12 meets to share a pleasant moment around la lenga nºstrain the company of schools in the area having followed the introduction to the Occitan language. This year, the public and private schools of Pont-de-Salars will welcome the schools of Flavin, Salles-Curan and Saint-Beauzély to their premises, to have fun together around Occitan for a day.
A play in Occitan will be performed on Tuesday June 16 at 2 p.m. in the village hall, and open to all, residents of Pont-de-Salars or elsewhere. Participation is set at €5 per person. This Occitan theater, entitled “Istérias”, is a play performed by the Occitan interregional theater La Rampe TIO, after Miche and Drate, Paroles blanche by Gérald Chevrolet (Éditions Youth Theaters).
The show offers fifteen short stories for little men… or little women like so many tasty vignettes, little moments of nothing at all from which theater is born. Gérald Chevrolet imagines Miche and Drate, two ageless, sexless characters, with tender, poetic and dreamlike words, like “two parts of the brain which dialogue at the edge of the world”.
They come up against a world too big for them with naivety and humanity, unless they build their own universe. These two very endearing protagonists will become reading companions for young and old, but also playmates for budding or experienced actors.
