The Transes Cévennes are 19 artistic offerings, 180 volunteers and 2 days of celebration in the heart of the Cévennes, on July 18 and 19. The village of Sumène will vibrate to the rhythm of the festival as it has for 29 years. Faithful to their DNA, the Transes Cévennes offer a demanding and accessible programming, geared towards artistic discovery.
Every evening, the public meets at the tavern in Lucie-Aubrac Park, the real beating heart of the festival where you can share a meal with friends, have a drink and let yourself be carried away by the music. The opening evening will begin with Yuhna Foster, Gard artist and winner of the festival’s tracking system, selected from 133 applications She explores a universe at the crossroads of rap and pop, driven by sincere writing around doubt, mental health and the quest for meaning. hip-hop show with fusion and reggae influences, tailored for the stage To close this first evening, the duo on the rise Antes & Madzes will offer a hybrid rap nourished by rock and electro influences. Between self-deprecation and social outlook, their lyrics combine sharp humor and sincerity. raw.
On Sunday, the Lucie-Aubrac park stage will welcome HK, an emblematic artist who has already appeared several times at the Transes Cévennes. A strong relationship has been built over the years, particularly when he came to give a support concert in 2011. HK returns this year for an exceptional concert with a new show lasting more than two hours, carried by his nomadic music and his humanist texts which invite us to sing, dance and think together. The festival will close with Sharouh, a Mediterranean DJ and producer, who will offer an electro, acid and sometimes punk set, irresistibly danceable, where samples of feminist speeches rub shoulders with oriental percussion and analog synths.

In accordance with their eco-responsible commitments, the Transes Cévennes encourage gentle mobility. The festival will open with a parade on wheels linking Ganges to Sumène via the greenway, another way of accessing the festival. Throughout the weekend, the public will be able to enjoy a demanding and accessible artistic program, including street shows, concerts, screenings and activities. A children’s area will also allow the youngest to fully experience the festival.
From 7:30 p.m., the pop-up tavern in Lucie-Aubrac Park becomes the festival’s gathering point.
Supported by a passionate team and nearly 180 volunteers, the festival remains above all a human adventure. At Transes Cévennes, artists, volunteers and festival-goers forge lasting bonds. Here, everyone finds their place, and many come back year after year.
