Transformed into a multicultural space, the Czech capital welcomed flavors, music and traditions from five continents. Visitors had the opportunity to discover culinary specialties, attend folkloric shows and activities highlighting the richness of national heritage.

Gastronomy was once again one of the main attractions of the festival. The participating embassies presented the most emblematic dishes of their respective countries. The originality of the event lay in the fact that many dishes were prepared and served directly by the diplomats themselves, thus promoting cultural exchanges in a friendly atmosphere.

The Vietnam stand was among the most popular. Fried spring roll, breaded shrimp, traditional donuts and other regional specialties were a great success with visitors. Many people also took the opportunity to photograph themselves with the “nón lá”, the famous Vietnamese conical hat.

This year marks the ninth consecutive participation of the Vietnamese Embassy in the Czech Republic in this event, in collaboration with Vietnamese companies established in the country. Through the presentation of its cuisine, its traditions and its hospitality, Vietnam continues to promote its image and its cultural identity to the international community.

Beyond its gastronomic and artistic dimension, the Embassy Cultural and Gastronomic Festival also constitutes an important platform for intercultural dialogue and rapprochement between peoples. The active presence of the Vietnamese community and Vietnamese businesses at this event testifies to their growing integration and their significant contribution to the economic, cultural and social life of the Czech Republic.
