On Saturday, the media library vibrated to the rhythm of its first “interstellar day of great rapprochement”. A crazy and tender moment of sharing which brought together around fifteen participants around the theme of friendship.
After braving the monsters in April, the team of volunteers took on a challenge of a completely different nature: dissecting the mysteries of emotional bonds.
In the morning, the children got the ball rolling by taking out their markers, with an exceptional and very official right to overflow the lines. The adventure continued with the collective creation of a green “friendship tree” followed by the no less friendly woolen cloth woven between everyone, young and old.
The experienced readers then put on their assistant blouses from the very serious “laboratory for the application of spontaneous mutual aid in a wooded environment” and moved among colorful decorations inspired by the album: “The suitcase of Chris Naylor-Ballesteros”, generously loaned for the occasion by the Mondes et Multitudes association, to which the team warmly thanks. Between ultra-fraternal checks and burlesque sketches, the morning happily broke the codes.
Especially since the young audience was quick to shake up the scenario, challenging the actresses of the day with a disarming spontaneity.
Behind the humor, the children (and adults!) left with some great life lessons: accepting differences, overcoming prejudices and measuring the strength of the collective. Finally, seeing sworn enemies leave arm in arm reminded everyone that life is sweeter when it comes together as a group.
This new success highlights the involvement of volunteers as well as the quality of the catalog of the Comtal Lot and Truyère community of communes, which favors bold and original album choices.
The Laboratory does not intend to stop there.
The media library welcomes families for an off-site session, Sunday July 12 at 3:17 p.m., in the green surroundings of the Terre rouge campsite. This animation, entitled “stories of trees, big and small heroes of the forest”, will be part of the national framework of “leaving as a book”. A great opportunity to take root, together, thanks to new intrigues.
