Medieval Market and Carnival

Animations. Every Saturday morning, the market offers fresh produce, often sold directly by the producer, cooked meals, jewelry and accessories as well as flowers. This Saturday, a pretty procession with its decorations, its knights, lords, princesses, gentlemen and damsels will set off at 10:15 a.m. to crisscross the streets and reach the market which it will reach around 11:15 a.m.

Knife show

Craftsmanship.More than 60 cutlers are expected, including two world-renowned ones, Jean-Pierre Martin and Charlie Bennica. Sharpening, blacksmithing and many other activities will also be offered. Flint knappers, medieval knives, kitchen knives, folding knives… there will be something for all tastes and at all prices.

Poulpinade

Gastronomy and terroir. Catering provided by professionals and city associations all day long, a mini-baleti at 11 a.m., entertainment for young and old from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., and at 7 p.m. launch of the Poulpinade Villeneuvoise evening with a peñas festival and DJ set.

Phone Festival

Festival. An eclectic program faithful to the energy of Latin American countries: DJs, singers, composers, orchestras, dancers, established, recognized and emerging meet on the two stages of the festival. This year, DJ Quantic, international icon of electro-tropical music will offer a set of several minutes to get the audience dancing, but also Jimena Angel Colombian artist offering Afro-Caribbean sounds, the new prince of reggaeton Sergio Alejandro and Lois Hammel.

Day of the Living Dead

Animations. A day on the theme of zombies, for young and old: at 2:30 p.m., “Draw me a zombie” (chalk drawing, all ages): at 5 p.m., debate on survival (from 12 years old); At 6 p.m., screening of the film “Shaun of the Dead” (from 12 years old). Free access all day long: zombie-themed table; zombified board games.

TorÆŸlla Competition Festival

Feast and gastronomy. An original competition is open to everyone, organized by the Hispanothèque association, which highlights the famous tortilla de patatas. Participate or come and taste in a festive and family atmosphere. On the program: raffle, flamenco show hosted by the Isabelle Marques school, and concert by the Ponga Loko group, which will bring a touch of Cuban salsa to this hot evening.
