The Var commune of La Londe-les-Maures unveils a dense June 2026 program, combining exhibitions, concerts, sport and popular festivals.
La Londe-les-Maures is preparing to experience a particularly lively month of June. The municipality has presented a calendar of varied events which will punctuate local life, between cultural events, sporting events and traditional celebrations. From the Sea Festival to the Music Festival, including numerous exhibitions and tournaments, the program is aimed at all audiences.
A rich cultural offering
The month of June will be marked by a rich artistic program. The Horace-Vernet Gallery will host two successive exhibitions: “Otherwise” by the painter Claude Printemps, from June 2 to 14, followed by “Poetic Emotions” by Isabelle Eisenberg, from June 16 to 28. At the same time, the Atelier d’Art Londais will present the work of its members from June 2 to 7 at the Salle Yann-Piat, with an opening on Tuesday June 2 at 6 p.m.
Conference enthusiasts will not be left out, with a presentation dedicated to the impressionist Gustave Caillebotte on June 3, hosted by his descendant Stéphanie Chardeau-Botteri. The theater will also take pride of place with several performances, including “Je n’irais pas à Sing-Sing” (June 13), “Three men and a bassinet” (June 18), “And meanwhile, Simone watches” (June 19) and “Trap … idiots †(June 27).
Classical music will be celebrated with the “La Londe en Classic” festival on June 26 at the Théâtre des Bormettes.
Fêtes, traditions et animations locales
Several highlights will punctuate the month. The 13th edition of the VarWagen Meeting will bring together Volkswagen Beetle and Combis enthusiasts on Argentière beach on June 6 and 7. The same weekend, Saturday June 6, the Sea and Boating Festival will be in full swing at Port Miramar from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This event, part of the national framework of “Do Boating”, will offer a nautical village, fleas, demonstrations and initiations.
The culmination of the festivities, the 43rd Music Festival, on Sunday June 21, will offer five free concerts from 9 p.m. in emblematic places in the city:
– Port Miramar: Pop from the 60s to today
– Bay of Islands: Bossa nova
– Forum de l’Argentière : Live DJ set
– City Hall Square: Pop-Rock
– Garden of Olives: Varieties
Finally, the traditional Feast of Saint Peter will close the month on Sunday June 28 at the Miramar port, with a mass, a procession and blessing at sea.
Sport and well-being at the rendezvous
Sport will be omnipresent with ping-pong tournaments (June 7), judo (June 13) and football (June 13). An exceptional event is scheduled for June 14 at the gymnasium of the College François de Leusse: mass judo training supervised by renowned champions such as Lucie Louette (European champion), Céline Géraud (world vice-champion) and Nico Kanning, Teddy’s former training partner Rinse.
Many associations will also offer workshops dedicated to well-being: postural stretching, Biodanza, relaxation with Tibetan bowls, Yin Yoga or even Taï Chi.
Citizen life and commemorations
The calendar also includes moments of meditation and civic life. Two commemorative ceremonies will be held at the War Memorial: the national day of homage to the “Died for France” in Indochina on June 8, and the 86th anniversary of the Appeal of June 18, 1940, on June 18.
The Municipal Council will meet on June 5 and 22. Citizens are also invited to participate in a blood drive on June 23 at the Yann-Piat Hall, by reserving their slot on the EFS website. Finally, information meetings, particularly on the professions of the National Police (June 25), and numerous general assemblies of local associations will punctuate the life of the commune.
