During this session of the Standing Commission, elected officials first validated various subsidies in favor of the Housing Solidarity Fund (FSL) for a total amount of €1,941,130. This system aims to support households experiencing difficulties in accessing or maintaining decent housing. In addition to financial aid, the FSL also includes a significant component in the areas of prevention and support. For its part, the Maine-et-Loire Departmental Housing Information Agency (Adil 49) was granted a total sum of €148,000 to finance information and legal advice operations on housing.
Aging well and living better with your disability
Also during this session, note also an allocation validated by these same elected officials in the amount of €30,000 for the Departmental Union of Family Associations (UDAF 49). This sum was earmarked to support the operation of the Resource and Support Center for Caregivers. €20,000 was also released to co-finance a psychologist position who will work with disabled children within Catholic education in Maine-et-Loire. In order to support policies related to autonomy, the members of the Standing Commission voted for a grant of €25,000 intended for the France Alzheimer 49 association. This envelope will be used in particular for training activities.
Supporting families and vulnerable groups
During this session, elected officials validated an agreement with France Enfance Protégée, the structure chaired nationally by Florence Dabin, the President of the Department of Maine-et-Loire. This agreement will allow the Department to use the National Approval Database (BDNA) which lists requests for approval, approvals issued, refusals or withdrawals of approvals with a view to adoption.
Youth for educational and sporting success
In this area, first of all, note a global grant amounting to €399,731 and intended to support investment projects in private colleges in Maine-et-Loire. In total, fifteen establishments are concerned for sums ranging from €8,164 to €63,090. Still in liaison with the colleges, elected officials have also validated the balance of costs incurred by these establishments in 2025 for the rental of sports facilities made available by the municipalities. In total, and for this session, this represents an overall budget of €188,335 (€159,087 for the public and €29,248 for the private sector). Also note a global allocation of €58,575 voted to support establishments dependent on private agricultural education. In the sports sector, various subsidies for a total amount of €368,595 were approved by elected officials. The most important of these was directed towards the equestrian sector which was allocated €122,540 for the co-financing of several events.
Culture, heritage and tourism
In order to support cultural development in the territories, several grants have been awarded by elected officials for a total amount of €70,000. In total, 33 various events or structures are impacted by this grant. In the area of attractiveness, note the support, for a total amount of €41,500, for various tourist events organized in Maine-et-Loire. These events are intended to serve as a media showcase for the region.
Environment
With the aim of promoting support and assistance for Sensitive Natural Areas (ENS) present in the region, elected officials have validated several grant requests related to this theme. The total amount of these subsidies reaches €222,595. A project stands out more particularly because of the amount involved. This concerns the implementation of the ENS management plan for the slate quarries of Trélazé which has been granted an allocation of €44,744. Finally, €42,243 was allocated to three projects carried out by the municipalities of Ulmes, Baugé-en-Anjou and Allonnes in connection with the treatment of rainwater.
