Reading stories for children (registration required)
▶   Wednesday June 3, at 10 a.m.: for children up to 3 years old. At 10:45 a.m.: stories and favorites to share for those aged over 4, in partnership with the Lire & faire lire association.

For adults (registration required)
▶   Saturday June 27, at 10 a.m.: participatory literary brunch, to share your favorites and imagine the actors who would play your heroes on the big screen.
▶   Friday 12 (6:30 p.m.-8 p.m.) and Saturday June 13 (10 a.m.-4 p.m.), scientific culture festival.
In conjunction with Disability Night, the media library and the Science Garden of the University of Strasbourg invite you to explore the brain from a new angle, through fun workshops, reading and scientific meetings.
Called “Alsascience in RosheimÂ: when the brain works differently†, this event highlights the diversity of neuronal functioning, notably addressing dys disorders, Alzheimer’s disease, ADHD and autism.
With the aim of better understanding these realities and raising awareness among the general public of invisible disabilities.
The program: Friday June 12, at 6:30 p.m.: screening of the documentary Never without my ADHD directed by Jean-Yves Ricci, followed by a time for discussion with health professionals from the Typik Atypik association. By reservation.
– At 11 a.m.: meeting with Demian Battaglia, CNRS researcher in theoretical neuroscience, “The cognitive reserve: when the fluidity of the brain protects thought†. Free entry, subject to availability.
– From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., non-stop: reading of stories for extraordinary children, by the Read & Have Read volunteers.
From 3 years old, registration the same day.
– De 10 h à 16 h, en continu : ateliers en libre accès, à partir de 6 ans.
– Workshop “Similar, but all different†, led by two scientific mediators from the Science Garden of the University of Strasbourg. Free access.
– Workshop “Neurodevelopmental disorders: better understanding to overcome preconceived ideas”, led by psychology students.
