From Wednesday June 3 to Wednesday June 10, 2026, the Saint-Dizier Museum hosts La Semaine du Pied, an event dedicated to the culture and health of the feet. A unique approach to the museum’s collections, with your nose in the works but your feet on the ground without worrying!

The foot in all its forms at the Saint-Dizier Museum

Through workshops and free discovery outings, La Semaine du Pied explores the importance of our feet, often neglected, while highlighting their central role in medicine and art history.

Wednesday June 3, from 1:45 p.m. to 3 p.m. – Papatte workshop (5 to 12 years old):

This workshop aims to introduce children to the fascinating world of animals through their paws, footprints and tracks. It raises participants’ awareness of biodiversity and the importance of the nature that surrounds us, while developing their curiosity and their spirit of observation.

Saturday June 6, from 2:30 p.m. – Hike with the Grolles Bragardes:

This 6 km walk is accessible to all and will take participants to discover the emblematic monuments, streets and green spaces that line the city center of Saint-Dizier. Departing from and arriving at the museum, this walk combines well-being, physical activity and heritage.

Sunday June 7, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. – “Enjoy your time at the museum!” guided tour:

What happened? They are everywhere, in every nook and cranny… Feet have invaded the museum! Visitors will stroll through the aisles of the museum, accompanied by a mediator, to discover the foot in all its forms.

Wednesday June 10, at 10 a.m. – Picoti-Picota (from 2 to 6 years old):

This workshop, organized throughout the year, allows little ones to discover naturalized collections. For this edition, legs are in the spotlight!
