In Digne-les-Bains, a CCAS cultural day dedicated to diversity and inclusion

In Digne-les-Bains, the second edition of the cultural day, co-organized by the CCAS social center “Les Pas de Côté” and the City, confirmed its ambition: to make culture a lever for inclusion and meeting between audiences. Supported by CAF and City Policy, the event brought together between 90 and 110 participants over one day, Thursday May 21, 2026.

Young college students, beneficiaries of the second chance school, people supported by specialized structures, families, volunteers and seniors met at Louis-Jouvet Park.

“Break habits”

In the morning, the participants were divided into mixed teams using colored bracelets made by members of the social center. An organization designed to encourage exchanges between audiences who, on a daily basis, rarely meet.

The idea was really to break habits. At the beginning, audiences tended to keep to themselves. This year, we deliberately mixed the teams, and it works very well“, explained the animator Louane Durbano.

Music, stop motion, dance, theater…
