Building on its success, the exhibition dedicated to the sumptuous wardrobe of Elizabeth II extended for six months

Inaugurated on 10th April, Queen Elizabeth II : Her life in Style, presenting some 300 pieces in the King’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace, will remain accessible to visitors until April 18, 2027.

Almost four years after her death, Queen Elizabeth II still fascinates as much. Presented as part of the centenary of his birth, the exhibitionQueen Elizabeth II : Her life in Style which is held in the King’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace, is extended by six months due to « d’un succès sans précédent ». The exhibition was sold out just a few weeks after its opening. Initially scheduled until October 18, the event will continue until April 18, 2027.

“We are delighted to extend its duration, to enable more people in the UK and around the world to experience this unique tribute to the life and legacy of Queen Elizabeth II.” said Tim Knox, director of the Royal Collection Trust in a statement. Ticketing is once again available on the Royal Collection Trust website, for dates from October 19, 2026 to April 18, 2027. Prices range between 11 and 22 pounds (12.75€ and 25.50€).

Ceremonial dresses, scarves, jackets… The public can admire some 300 pieces from her wardrobe, some presented for the first time. Among the creations by Norman Hartnell, the late queen’s couturier, are her wedding dress and her coronation outfit in 1953.

To mark this tribute, the private apartments used by Queen Elizabeth II when she resided at the Palace of Holyroodhouse – the monarch’s official residence in Scotland – are accessible to the public for the first time.
