The race promises to be original because it offers a complete immersion in the heart of the city and its emblematic places: town hall, city woods, pump track, green esplanade, hospital, ikastola, sports complex, equestrian center and greenway. A varied and lively route promising as much pleasure as challenge. The event also aims to promote the Basque language and culture in a friendly spirit where seasoned runners, Sunday joggers and lovers of good times will find themselves on the same starting line.
New schedule
This year will see a big change in the departure time for this Saturday, June 6, set at 5 p.m. The organizers hope that the heatwave will not be there and will not physically disrupt the progress of the runners in their forties, fifties or those with little training.
Around 7 p.m., it’s time to relax: burgers from Mutturfin, drinks and musical ambiance with the Koxeguy group for this festive evening at Aïretik open to all. Another new feature: a well-rewarded raffle, including a weekend for four people in a chalet in Iraty. Registrations for the race are made on the website www.pb-organization.com and many participants are expected for this event combining effort, pleasure and local commitment.
