She is going to leave Beirut for Thionville. A few days to escape elsewhere, offer a little “love and gentleness in response to the brutality of the world”. These words , it is Rima Abdul Malek who pronounces them at each launch of her event : the Rima Poetry Club.

A stage dedicated to the contemporary voices that she created while she was still at the Ministry of Culture, succeeding in installing poetry in the highest spheres of the state. Usually, it is held in Paris, at the Voltaire Consulate. But not this time.

Four poets and a piano

June 12, 2026, the former Minister of Culture will be at Puzzle, in Thionville, well surrounded. She brought together four poets whom she loves and whom she wishes to make heard: : Rim Battal, French-Moroccan poet; Cécile Coulon, figure of poetic renewal; Louis-Philippe Dalembert, Haitian poet and novelist; and Alix Lerasle, author and winner of the Vocation Prize.
