Concert organized by Cluturas d’Oc and Astaffort Tourisme en Brulhois. Culturas d’c en Lot et Garonne is a recent association (June 2018), heir to the Association per la Cultura Populara en Agenés (ACPA), which was created in 1977! She is the bearer of Occitan culture which she wishes to share in Lot et Garonne, with as many people as possible. This association offers two main types of actions: on the one hand, training, on the other hand, dissemination. More clearly, as part of music training, we organize courses that we more readily call workshops. Music workshops, where the aim is to learn in small groups to play the diatonic accordion, the violin, the Landes de Gascogne bagpipes, called boha in Occitan, Recontres workshops to learn to perform repertoires together. This is because the lessons are aimed at all levels, even very beginners, at all ages and it is not necessary to know how to read the scores to learn to play… It is through imitation and listening that learning is built. We learn, as the ancients said, “by ear”, “by routine”. For distribution, we create balls and events including the Campestral, repeated for more than forty years with local partners. The Campestral has died out, numerous partnerships have emerged, music and dance mingle in the same conviviality.
