From May 31 to September 30, the City of Dinard presents, at the Palais des Arts et du Festival, “Jean Dubuffet. The virtual swell… A France Culture exhibition.
The Palais des Arts et du Festival is hosting “The Virtual Swell†, an exhibition dedicated to Jean Dubuffet, designed in close collaboration with the Dubuffet Foundation.
The opportunity to immerse yourself in one of the most emblematic cycles of this major artist of the second half of the 20th century: L’Hourloupe, from 1962 to 1974.
Paintings, drawings, sculptures, models… Through a collection of one hundred and fifty works, the tour traces the genesis and successive developments of this immediately recognizable graphic universe, made of sinuous and hatched lines in tones of red, blue, white and black.
From the first ballpoint pen drawings, produced mechanically, to sculptures and reliefs that have become architecture, Jean Dubuffet tirelessly explores the relationships between imagination and reality.
Meet from May 31 to September 30 at the Palais des Arts et du Festival in Dinard for an immersive and reflective experience.
A France Culture exhibition.
