A great dynamic drives the cultural programming for the month of May in Valréas. On the program, photography, artistic creation, the promotion of heritage and inclusion.

The common thread is the photographic exhibition by Brigitte Blandin and Michel Mangin, presented at the Château de Simiane until May 30. The castle is also participating in the first edition of the Hors cadre festival hosted by the Village Drama Center which will take place from May 19 to 23 (opening Tuesday May 19 at 6 p.m., in the main room with, as a preamble, the Beausoleil Ehpad choir). A festival around diversity, inclusion and contemporary artistic forms (theater, cinema, exhibitions, meetings, workshops…).

Meeting with the actor Théo Kermel

The May program also includes screenings at the Micro-Folie (plus on May 20 at 11 a.m. an exceptional meeting with the actor Théo Kermel), artistic presentations visible until May 23 in the new exhibition room (paintings from the Atelier extraordinary de Cavaillon and pottery made at Grignan during workshops led by Céline Vergier).

Also note an exceptional conference by Marie-Hélène Adam on Thursday May 21 at 6 p.m. in the meeting room of the castle on the theme “From disability to art” (Frida Kahlo and Toulouse-Lautrec).
