Le Printemps des arts highlights inclusion and living together where culture is not only to be seen or listened to, but to be shared collectively.
30 free events are offered until June 13 on artistic and cultural themes which aim to explore braille and adapted books, create and dance together, whatever your background, meet artists and discuss exile, identity or memory, discover sensitive exhibitions on life journeys, attend shows, concerts and performances accessible to all.
A rich and varied program
The network’s libraries, but also a show outside the walls, close to residents, in social centers, medico-social structures, EHPADs, public spaces will host these moments of conviviality.
Among the highlights: a photo exhibition entitled fragments of a departure from April 25 to May 13 in Saint-Maurice-de-Beynost and from May 23 to June 13 in Neyron, participatory inclusive dance workshops with the Authentik company, land art, multisensory creations, meetings with authors among which Abdou Faye and others around exile, identity and poetry, concerts by the Harmony of Hope, students of the Academy of Music and Dance of the CCMP, theater and circus shows.
Without forgetting creative and sensory workshops in Braille, manga in relief, flowers in modeling clay… Sharing totems have been designed to encourage participation, discovery and exchange, with an inclusive look at the differences and abilities of each person with the aim of making their events accessible to as many people as possible.
Accessible reading
An intercommunal collection of books that are easy to read and understand will be offered in the network’s libraries, which will allow readers to choose from 800 documents. Some will also be able to learn French, regain confidence in reading or even benefit from more affordable reading for people with disabilities or young people.
