A program that smells like summer. The Est Ensemble territorial public establishment, which brings together nine municipalities* in Seine-Saint-Denis, has revealed the program for the 2026 edition of its flagship system: “It’s Le Bel”. What awaits residents: culture and sport accessible to as many people as possible.
Let’s dive for 1 euro and free swimming lessons
Like last summer, the eleven swimming pools in the area lower their prices during the season. Entrance is set at just 1 euro for local young people aged 4 to 18.
At the same time, the community is relaunching his swimming lessons entirely free in order to prevent the risk of drowning. Almost half of children (47%) do not know how to swim when they leave primary school in Seine-Saint-Denis.
38 cinema screenings under the stars
For movie buffs and lovers of mild evenings, the flagship event “Cinema under the stars” resumes service from June 27 to August 28. No fewer than 38 free outdoor screenings will be organized across the country.
Spectators will be able to (re)discover classics and recent successes on the big screen such as ET the Extraterrestrial, My Neighbor Totoro, or the animated blockbuster Vice-versa 2.
From sport to greenery and lively wastelands
For athletes, the “Green Sport” operation will transform the parks of Bondy, Montreuil and Noisy-le-Sec into open-air sports halls. Supervised, residents will be able to try Nordic walking, yoga, self-defense or even muscle strengthening for free.
Finally, the library network will remain mobilized all summer with fun workshops and readings for children, while the many cultural wastelands of Seine-Saint-Denis will come alive to the rhythm of concerts and participatory artistic workshops.
