Ukraine in force at Eurosatory, sign of “rapid growth” in its arms sector

This is the“one of the largest international arms exhibitions†, says Ukrainian news agency UNN in a long article devoted to the event. “Once every two years, the industry’s most important developers come together, along with government representatives, investors and specialists from around the world.â€

This year, “more than 2,000 defense and national security companies are present, from 60 different countries†, précise UNN. “Since its inception in 1967, the exhibition has become the leading international forum for discussion on the development of defense capabilities and security technologies.†And, “in accordance with tradition, terrestrial and air-terrestrial systems can be seen there†, the living room grants “more and more attention to cyberspace, and to the naval and space domains†.
